The Southern Genealogist's Exchange Society, in Jacksonville, Florida, presents a Spring Seminar, on Saturday, March 11, 2006, with Brent Holcomb, Certified American Lineage Specialist and Genealogy Lecturer, from South Carolina. His topics: land records, probate records, vital records and substitutes for them, as well as Carolina history. Lessons learned in South Carolina prove invaluable elsewhere, so this is of interest to all genealogists.
Location of seminar: Park Lane Baptist Church, 1480 Lake Shore Blvd., on Jacksonville's West side. Registration: SGES Members, $45; Non-Members, $49, lunch included if received by March 7. All registrations must be received by March 10.
